One thing about Minnesota is the Gardens! They are everywhere and people work hard to have the most amazing ones. The University of MN has a place out by Nana and Grampa Waite that is miles long and lush with different styles of flora and fauna. Here they've built a house with furniture out of plants and trees, can you see the frame? The bed and rug? The table and chairs? Mommy and Daddy love to spend time exploring all the neat gardens and state parks. Being in nature is the most important way to spend time to them. Mommy tells me about all the plants and makes me smell and touch them. Here we have Chives, Lavender, Sage, Echinacea, and the Japanese Maple, mom's favorite tree. The waterfall was man made, but leads to a beautiful estuary where we saw lots of birds and frogs. too.
