My baby boy was born with rapid breathing (100 per minute) and a premature nervous system, but the neo-natalist here, took charge and got him in fine health within 3 days! We had heard it could be 2 weeks before we took him home. But Kade was a strong little man and fought hard for good health.
On the first middle of the night I came in and they introduced me to nursing my child. The nurses kept warning me that just because it worked so well the first time, didn't mean it would continue, the question was could he eat and breathe at the same time. He's been a pro since the start! All the major concerns died down and i knew he was going to be fine. Day 2 we finally we got all the tubes and cords off his little body, and then discovered jaundice. But that's it! 24 hours in the tank and he's ours to take home. I do light therapy for my facials, so i know how good it is. Kade in the tank lights up the whole nursery and i just can't stop calling him my little K-mart Blue Light Special!
