Taco loved the trapeze artists and clapped on cue!  He did great for the first 45 minutes,  then it just got long...
5th time moving out of the house in our disastrous "remodel", the neighbors were gracious and it was perfect with a baby room and toys all set up!! 
We even had our friend Abe and Jen over, our only guests in 5 months!  

March 1, 2009 Taco tiene un ano!!!

We had a wonderful fiesta with family and friends!!  We love to celebrate our little Taco, Kade Anthony Shomion, and are so proud of our son!!

There was a wonderful crowd, i'm sorry i didn't get pictures of everyone, but Grama Shomion and Cuzin Diane got the party started!!
Abuela was so proud of you and loved to have your attention!!
You had a real affinity for the Grampas in the room.  This is a Beep on Uncle Dick's nose!!
Brennan, James and Sammy helped you blow out your candles.  These were also the boys that walked Mommy down the aisle to marry Daddy!!  It was great to have them together again, three years later, from 5 to 8, what a difference!!
Uncle Sean and Auntie Anne came to celebrate you even in the middle of exams!  
Katie and Mack!!  We love our playdates with these guys!!
The boys were hanging out talking sports and you and Lawson told them of your baseball dreams!! Daddy, Uncles Dick and Jack, Grampa Waite, Uncle Larry and Grampa Shomion would make great coaches!
You do love plates to play with, but you are ENAMORED with your cousin Sophia!! If you two smile at the same time night turns to day, its so bright!!
Mamas Stephanie, Martha and Kristine, Mommy's good friends, all mothers of beautiful boys!! Neither Martha or Mommy knew at the time but we were both pregnant, about a week apart.
Maybe one minute with you, you were so busy and interested in everyone else that was there.

It was so good to see Mama Stephanie and August come out and play!!  He is learning from you like you learned from Mack!!

Our Birthday Morning

Snow corner, which was hard to pull away from due to igloo blocks tasting so good! And there were musical icicles, glistening snowflake spinners and a great view of the city.
A little fishing break.  We caught one little trout!
Things that spin  might keep you entertained at least a good 15 minutes or so.

We took our little ONE YEAR OLD to breakfast at Day by Day Cafe and then to the children's museum for some discovery!!
